Earlier Sacrifices in Kulgam
On 9 August 2025, two Army personnel — Lance Naik Pritpal Singh and Sepoy Harminder Singh — were martyred during a prolonged operation in Akhal Devsar, Kulgam district.
The Chinar Corps paid tribute, stating:
“Their courage and dedication will forever inspire us. The Indian Army stands with the bereaved families.”
Ongoing Vigilance Along the LoC
The latest Uri operation underscores the Indian Army’s constant vigilance against cross-border infiltration and its unwavering commitment to national security, even at the highest personal cost.
