Images have surfaced showing two of the three terrorists killed in a recent encounter in the Akhnoor sector of Jammu and Kashmir. The operation occurred after the terrorists opened fire on an Army vehicle on Monday.

Security forces utilized drone surveillance to capture images of the two deceased terrorists. While the body of one terrorist has been recovered, efforts are ongoing to locate the other two.

Incident Details

The confrontation began around 7 AM in the Batal area of Akhnoor when three terrorists launched multiple rounds of gunfire at an Army vehicle. In response, security forces swiftly cordoned off the area and initiated a manhunt.

This incident comes as security forces in Jammu and Kashmir have heightened security measures in the region in preparation for the upcoming Diwali festival season.
