This new initiative is aimed at towns with populations of one lakh or less, as part of the company’s broader rural expansion programme.

The launch is the first phase of a strategic rollout across key Indian states including Haryana, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana. Over the next three months, these centres will offer a comprehensive range of tyre-related services, making them one-stop destinations for tyre sales, wheel balancing, and tyre changing.

Value-added services such as an instant claim facility for non-truck tyres will set the Steel Wheels centres apart, with competitive pricing and industry-leading warranties designed to boost customer confidence. This is especially critical in rural areas where such services are often underserved.

Anshuman Singhania, Managing Director of JK Tyre, highlighted the initiative’s potential social and economic impact, saying, “Our rural expansion programme will enable us to reach underserved areas, fostering both entrepreneurship and community growth.”

These centres will also serve as entrepreneurial hubs, empowering local entrepreneurs through strategic partnerships. By offering employment opportunities and becoming a vital part of the national distribution network, JK Tyre aims to create long-term economic growth in India’s heartland.
